01 Scope & B2B Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all commercial interactions, procurement RFQs, trade contracts, maritime shipments, and website usage administered by Fibrana Bio Corporation ("we", "us", or "our"), headquartered in Chattogram, Bangladesh.
As an industrial B2B primary manufacturer and exporter, our systems are architected strictly for commercial and institutional trade counterparties. We do not solicit, process, or sell consumer retail personal data. All information handled relates to corporate procurement executives, supply chain personnel, freight forwarders, logistics brokers, and trade finance banking officers.
Regulatory Framework
We process commercial data in full harmony with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - Regulation EU 2016/679), the UK Data Protection Act, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and the statutory mandates of the Bangladesh Cyber Security Act 2023.
02 Categories of Corporate Data We Collect
To execute cross-border physical shipments of heavy jute packaging, raw fiber, and geotextiles, we collect and process specific commercial categories:
- Procurement & Representative Contact Data: Name, official business email, corporate direct dial telephone, corporate title, department, and physical office address of procurement officers and logistics managers.
- Corporate Entity & Tax Identifiers: Legal entity name, registration jurisdiction, Business Identification Number (BIN), VAT/GST numbers, Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) numbers, and customs broker codes.
- Trade Finance & Banking Details: Issuing bank details, Swift codes, Letter of Credit (MT700) references, bank account IBAN numbers for trade remittance, and advising bank records.
- Logistics & Vessel Instructions: Named destination ports, ocean carrier booking numbers, Bill of Lading consignee and notify-party designations, and container delivery addresses.
- Digital Technical Telemetry: IP addresses, browser types, session timestamps, and interaction logs with our web platform and Freight Engine calculations for cybersecurity monitoring and server load optimization.
03 Legal Bases for Processing Trade Data
We process corporate information strictly under verified lawful bases defined in Article 6 of the GDPR and equivalent international statutes:

04 Protection of Proprietary Bag Stencils & Trade Secrets
Industrial packaging buyers frequently supply bespoke bag stencils, brand artwork, pesticide compliance printings, food-grade certifications, and agricultural cooperative logos for imprinting on B-Twill and Binola sacks.
Confidentiality Commitment: Fibrana Bio treats all client brand graphics, customized weaving specifications (reed & pick ratios, fabric GSM), and procurement volume distributions as strictly proprietary trade secrets. We never sell, display, or disclose client-branded sacking designs to unauthorized third parties or competing importers without explicit prior written consent.
05 Authorized Third-Party Disclosures
To complete an international ocean shipment ex-Chattogram Port, commercial data must be transmitted to trusted, legally obligated trade stakeholders:
- Ocean Carriers & Feeder Operators: Transmitting shipping instructions, container weight declarations (VGM - Verified Gross Mass), and Bill of Lading particulars to shipping lines (e.g., Maersk, MSC, Hapag-Lloyd, CMA CGM).
- Independent Inspection Agencies: Sharing cargo specifications and mill warehouse access with SGS Bangladesh Ltd., Bureau Veritas, or Intertek for Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI).
- Government & Customs Authorities: National Board of Revenue (NBR) Customs at Chattogram/Mongla ports, Plant Quarantine Station (DAE), and Bangladesh Bank for official export compliance.
- Commercial Banking Networks: Transmitting documentary presentations through the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) network via nominated Authorized Dealer banks in Bangladesh.
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or barter trade contact databases or transaction history to marketing aggregators or third-party lead brokers under any circumstances.
06 Data Retention & Statutory Audit Mandates
In accordance with international maritime regulations and the Foreign Exchange Policy Department (FEPD) of Bangladesh Bank, commercial shipping documents, Bills of Lading, foreign exchange certificates, and commercial correspondence must be archived for a minimum statutory period of five (5) to seven (7) years following the financial repatriation of export proceeds.
Following the expiration of statutory audit retention periods, commercial records are permanently and securely deleted from active corporate databases or scrubbed of corporate contact identifiers.

Commercial counterparties and corporate representatives maintain recognized rights under international data protection laws:
- Right of Access & Portability: Request confirmation of commercial records and active contracts maintained within our enterprise resource systems.
- Right to Rectification: Promptly correct obsolete customs identification numbers (BIN/VAT/EORI) or corporate personnel contact info.
- Right to Erasure & Restriction: Request the deletion of marketing contact details or non-statutory commercial inquiries, subject to mandatory banking and customs record retention rules.
